Day 1: Arrive Rangoon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, our Myanmar Connection- Asia World guide will welcome you and you will be transferred to your hotel. Hotel: Summit Park View – 2 nights

Day 2: Rangoon Sightseeing
Highlights include: Sule Pagoda, Little India and China Town, the magnificent reclining Buddha, Royal Lake, Bogyoke Aung San Market and finally spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 3: Rangoon to Bagan
Flight to Nyaung U. Visit the market, pagodas and temple. After lunch visit a traditional lacquer ware workshop, then Thatbyinnyu Temple. Enjoy the sunset from one of the open terraces of Bagan Temples. Hotel: Thazin Garden – 2 nights

Day 4: Bagan
A morning’s exploration of the famous temples and pagodas of Bagan. Visit Kyauk Gu U Min then enjoy a relaxing cruise back to Bagan. An afternoon horse-cart ride visits the magnificent temples and pagodas.

Day 5: Bagan to Mandalay
Transfer to Nyaung U airport for your flight to Mandalay. On the way to Mandalay visit the former capital of Amarapura, Mahagandayon Monastery and U Bein Teak bridge. Afternoon sightseeing of Shwenandaw Kyaung, then visit the 'world’s largest book' and Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda. Enjoy a view of Mandalay from the hill. Hotel: Mandalay City – 3 nights

Day 6: Sagaing and Inwa
Morning visit to Sagaing, which is situated 21 km from Mandalay and on the other bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River and Sagaing hill. At Inwa enjoy a horse cart ride to Bagaya Monastery.

Day 7: Mingun
Morning transfer to the jetty for an hour's boat ride from Mandalay, along the Ayeyarwady River, to the little town of Mingun. Tour highlight includes Mingun pagoda (Phatodawgyi), Mingun bell, and beautiful Hsinbyume Pagoda. After that return to Mandalay by boat.

Day 8: Mandalay to Kalaw
Morning transfer to Mandalay airport for a flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya and visit Pindaya cave, then proceed to Kalaw, a charming former hill station and forest. Hotel: Hill Top Villa Resort – 1 night

Day 9: Kalaw to Inle Lake
Visit Nyaung Shwe then journey by boat to explore the floating gardens, village life and magnificent scenery. Visit Inn Paw Khon and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Then continue to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Hotel: Inle Resort – 3 nights

Day 10: Indein
Visit the floating market and the beautiful ancient stupas.

Day 11: Inle Lake trekking
A day of easy trekking into villages beyond Inle Lake, home to some of Burma’s ethnic minorities.

Day 12: Inle Lake to Rangoon
Morning transfer to Heho airport for flight to Rangoon. Hotel: Summit Park View – 1 night

Day 13: Depart Rangoon
Morning at leisure before your airport transfer.
