Guide to Koh Lanta & Hotels
Koh Lanta, located to the south of Krabi, has converted from an 1980’s backpacker destination into one of Thailand’s new upmarket hotspots. With its 25-mile picturesque coastline and close proximity to Phuket and Krabi, it’s a great alternative to the other busier tropical islands. |
How to get there
There are regular flights from Bangkok to Krabi. From Krabi Airport you will be met by a resort representative and transferred by shared, airconditioned minibus to Baan Hua Hin Pier, a journey time of 50 minutes. During the high season Nov - Apr you will then travel by boat to Pimalai; a 1 hour scenic ride. In low season an alternative crossing may be required with a longer journey time. Call for details. Roundtrip transfer from £74 per person.
