Guide to Singapore & Hotels
Guide to Singapore, Hotels & Tours
Singapore is about as westernised as Asia gets. A sparkling, clean city that retains a grip on tradition, Singapore offers some of the world’s best shopping and hotels, along with some fantastic cuisine. Be sure to check out Chinatown, Boat Quay and Little India. Sentosa is Singapore’s own island resort getaway. Located just a 15 minute drive from the city, it is accessible by cable car, taxi or pre-booked transfer.
Getting there
Singapore is one of south east Asia’s greatest hubs, served by a wide choice of airlines from almost all parts of the world. Singapore’s Changi Airport is located a 30-minute drive from the city. We can arrange for you to be met on arrival and transferred privately to your chosen accommodation. From £19 per person. Getting around Singapore is easy. The MRT train system offers cheap, air conditioned transport to most of the key attractions. Taxis are plentiful.

Attractions
Witness the contrast between Singapore’s colonial historic buildings and today’s high tech modern architecture on a city tour. Be sure to ride the Singapore Flyer too. For shopping, head to Orchard Road, the centre of Singapore’s vibrant shopping culture. Try a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar at legendary Raffles Hotel. Enjoy the nightlife of Clarke Quay, with a great choice of bars and restaurants lining the river. The Island of Sentosa offers a host of attractions including a sandy beach.

When to go
Singapore has a tropical climate and is hot and humid all year round. During the wettest months, between November and January, it can rain heavily in the late afternoon.
