This is a part of the site that has not had the jungle cleared, with the result that it looks very much as most of the Angkor monuments would have appeared when European explorers first stumbled across them; shrouded in jungle, untouched by archaeologists. When to go The driest and coolest period is generally from November to March. May through to October sees high humidity and frequent, butoften brief showers.
