| Steve brings a lot of experience to the Inspired by Asia team. With a 28 year travel career he began as a retail travel agent with Pickfords Travel back in the eighties. He had a change of focus following a year out travelling the world and came back as an Australia and New Zealand specialist, joining Austravel. From there it was an easy progression to joining Tourism Australia for a three year period. In 1992 he moved on to tailormade specialist Travelmood and enjoyed a 17 year spell there, setting up and running the land arrangements department and playing a major part in the growth of the company. In 2009 Steve set up Inspired by Asia to create a new travel company that combines great service from experienced travellers with competitive prices for quality hotels and tours. Steve’s top tips for where to go in 2012 are Vietnam, and in particular Hanoi and Hoi An. For families Borneo offers a great combination of sandy beaches, great hotels and the chance to interact with Orangutans. When he can be dragged away from the office Steve spends a lot of time driving his sons to their football matches, following the (mis) fortunes of West Ham United, taking his family off to exotic, far-flung destinations on holiday and escaping to the Lake District to hike around the mountains. |

Gareth Bell
Senior Executive
gareth@inspiredbyasia.co.uk |
| Gareth has been working in the travel industry for the past 10 years and has a vast amount of experience when it comes to arranging tailor-made itineraries throughout South East Asia. His first taste of the region came when he took a year out from work in 2001 to travel through Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Bali en route to Australia and he was immediately hooked. Gareth has returned to a number of these destinations, as well as a few others, since that first trip and he highlights the welcoming people, the excellent hotels, the tropical climate, the sensational beaches and the fantastic food as the main attractions that keep luring him back time and time again. There really is something for everybody in this part of the world and Gareth feels that the first-hand knowledge and the accumulated experiences of the Inspired by Asia team should make them your first choice when it comes to creating your perfect Far East Holiday. Outside of work Gareth is a loyal supporter of Leeds United and a keen follower of all things sport related, unfortunately weekend shifts put an end to his career as an international cricketer before it had begun (honest)! |

Amy Bell
Senior Executive
amy@inspiredbyasia.co.uk |
| Amy started working in travel back in 1999 after finishing college and being the only thing she was interested in! In 2001 she spent 6 weeks travelling through South East Asia, before spending the best part of a year in Australia. That 6 weeks spent travelling through the region, sparked a passion for this area and has returned numerous times. She hopes to share her knowledge and experiences with others through Inspired by Asia. In the last 12 months she has been lucky enough to visit Hanoi, Halong Bay, Koh Samui, Phuket (twice!), Krabi and Bangkok. In her spare time Amy enjoys spending time with friends and family, eating out, holidays (obviously) and trying to have a break from the football banter in the office! |

Petrina Sutton
Senior Sales Consultant
petrina@inspiredbyasia.co.uk |
| Petrina first got the travel bug during a backpacking trip around Australia in 1998. On her return she wanted to work in travel and help inspire others planning their tailor-made trips. Since that first long haul trip Petrina has travelled extensively (and sometimes in a little more luxury), with Asia being her favourite part of the world. There are so many things that she loves about Asia but she particularly enjoys the beautiful beaches, tasty food, the culture and all the friendly smiling faces.. In her spare time Petrina enjoys socialising with friends and family and getting out into the countryside for some fresh air on a hike or a bike ride. Her newest pastime is salsa dancing which has actually started to become part of her travel plans! Recently salsa has taken her to Spain and she has even put on her dancing shoes as far afield as South America. |
